Our Team
Chief Executive Officer and President
Conrad Cormier is the owner and founder of COREngineering. As a professional mechanical engineer, Conrad leads and supervises our team of engineers while remaining very much involved in the design process. He also conducts and approves finite element analysis (FEA stress analysis). Conrad brings to the team over a decade of experience in custom mechanical engineering and designing. Perhaps more importantly, he has an impressive understanding of how things work together, making him a strong problem solver. Conrad has worked on projects for a wide range of industries, including seafood processing equipment, rock mining equipment and a hydraulic multi-axis head attachment for heavy equipment.
Conrad graduated from the Université de Moncton in 2008 and obtained his P.Eng. designation in 2013. Conrad is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB) and Engineers Nova Scotia.
Business Development
Réal has over 35 years of expertise in industrial engineering. With strong public relation skills, he plays a crucial role in identifying new clients and partners from all industry sectors for COREngineering. His knowledge and understanding of provincial and federal programs and resources, such as grants and research and development tax credits, make him a key player for those interested in efficient financial solutions for the development of successful new projects. Réal also develops administrative, marketing, financial and other business development documentation for COREngineering.
Réal holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Université de Moncton. He is also an electronic technician graduate from the Collège Communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick. Réal has been a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB) since 1990.
Mechanical Designer
Cory is a mechanical designer for COREngineering. He graduated from University of New Brunswick with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and has over 7 years of engineering design experience and 3D modelling. He is also trained in finite element analysis (FEA) which aids in confirming the integrity and strength of his designs. Cory joined COREngineering in 2016, and has since been involved in numerous projects, including rock mining equipment, food cooling systems, oil tank design, seafood equipment design and vacuum pump design.
Mechanical designer
Michael works as a mechanical designer at COREngineering. In additions to his designing skills, Michael’s past experience as a machinist brings to the team a valuable understanding of the manufacturing process and how things work together. Examples of Michael’s previous work include snow-grooming equipment and components for the forestry and mulching industries.
Michael is trained in technical and industrial design, as well as in CNC machining from the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick.
Industrial Electrician / Programmer
Justin joined COREngineering in 2018. He oversees the electrical department with outstanding work ethic. He ensures job completion from start to finish and takes much pride in his work. Justin has worked on a number of projects, including various conveyors, PLC/HMI programming and interface designing, door guarding systems, camera vision for product inspections, panel building, and more. Justin graduated from Holland College’s Industrial Electrical Technology in 2015. He is CSA Z462-18 Arc flash certified, as well as trained by Omron Safety Skill Builder to identify safety hazards and needs for machine guarding. Previous work includes control panel building and electrical system designing.
Administrative Support
Monique provides administrative support to COREngineering and its team.
